Teachers Apply Now!

Walton Education Foundation is now accepting classroom grant applications through October 2, 2019.  They will be blindly reviewed by a committee of local business representatives and retired teachers.  Checks will be mailed to schools by the first week of November.  Emails will go to that school’s principal, bookkeeper and grant recipient with instructions at that time.

Thank you to this year’s classroom grant sponsors St. Joe Community Foundation, Alys Foundation and CHELCO for providing the majority of the funding for these classroom grants.  Additional funding is also provided by our Annual Apple Classic 5K fundraiser.  All funds are eligible to be matched $1 for $1 by the State of Florida through the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations.  We will be notified the first week of October how much of the donations listed above were matched.

Depending on our matched dollars we may have just under $50,000 to award thanks to our generous donors!
