Funded through the dynamic partnership of the School District Education Foundation Matching Grant program using 1:1 matched state and private funds, our Classroom Grant Program is open to Walton County School District teachers in order to support a specific need for their classroom this school year.

NEW CRITERIA FOR 2025-26
- Walton Education Foundation is please to share the total amount eligible for a grant request has increased to a max of $2,000!
- Grants will be awarded in whole amounts of $500, $1,000, $1,500 or $2,000.
- Grants in the amount of $500 or $1,000 must be led by one teacher and are ideal to impact a classroom of any size.
- Grants in the amount of $1,500 must be led by two or more teachers.
- Grants in the amount of $2,000 must be led by two or more teachers AND must show impact to a department or entire campus.
- A teacher may only lead one grant at their campus.
- By applying for a Classroom Grant, the applicant understands the timeline, reporting expectations and deadlines listed below.

2025 CLASSROOM GRANT TIMELINE
September 10, 2025 – The Find It Fund It grant application portal opens.
October 10, 2025 11:59PM CST – The Find It Fund It grant application portal closes at midnight.
October 12 – 20, 2025 – Classroom Grant Requests enter a blind review and are scored by the Classroom Grant Review Committee.
November 1, 2025 – Confirmation email of awarded grants is sent to teachers and school campuses. Grant funding is released to school campuses and for purchasing to begin.
February 15, 2026 – Receipts Due and All Funding Spent -Teachers or Bookkeepers should submit project receipts to Walton Education Foundation to confirm all grant funds are spent on program supplies as listed in their grant request.
April 30, 2026 at 11:59PM CST – Final Reports Due – Teachers must submit their final reports to Walton Education Foundation (Impact Report and State Report).
Walton Education Foundation Classroom Grants are submitted through our Find It Fund It portal and entered into a review by a panel of former educators and administrators, community members, and school parents. The Review Panel scores each grant and then awarded schools are notified.

in 2024-25 Walton Education Foundation is proud to fund 74 Classroom Grants and over $75,000 that will impact 18 Walton County School District Campuses and an estimated 8,800 students in grades K-12.
