We offer several programs that support the Walton County School District staff, teachers, students and families.

School Wide Grants

School Wide Grants are currently being offered by our larger donors like the St. Joe Community Foundation. These grants are large grants, usually over $20,000 or more to a school or school program.

Classroom Grants

Every year Walton Education Foundation funds over $40,000 to over 40 classrooms in the Walton County School District. Those grants impact 85%+ of the student population in the WCSD.

District Wide Events

With over 800 teachers and 200 administrators, District Wide Events are never a small matter. With the help of donations from our local business partners the impact these events have on collaboration with our teachers is incredible.

Teacher of the Year

Teacher of the Year and Educational Support Person of the Year event is held annually in January to celebrate Walton County School District’s Teacher of the Year nominees and winners.

Large or small, we facilitate scholarships for students in the Walton County School District for everything from band to sports and more.

Take Stock in Children

Take Stock in Children, Inc. mission is to break the cycle of poverty for low-income, academically qualified students by providing opportunities for a post-secondary education. We offer college scholarships to students, provide caring volunteer mentors, and instill hope for a better life. Our comprehensive services begin in middle school, continue through high school, and include students’ transition into college and career.
