Congratulation to our 2024-25 Classroom Grant Recipients!
Funded through the dynamic partnership of 1:1 matched state and private funds, our Classroom Grant Program is open to Walton County School District teachers in order to support a specific need for their classroom this school year.
Walton Education Foundation is proud to 74 Classroom Grants and $75,000+ that will impact 18 Walton County School District Campuses and an estimated 14,000 students in grades K-12. Congratulations to Bay School, Dune Lake Elementary School, Emerald Coast Middle School, Freeport Elementary School, Freeport Learning Center (NEW Campus!), Freeport Middle School, Maude Saunders Elementary, Mossy Head Elementary, Paxton School, Seacoast Collegiate High School, Seaside Neighborhood School, South Walton High School, Butler Elementary School, Walton Academy, Walton High School, WISE, WISE Pre-K, Walton Middle School.
2024-25 Classroom Grant Deadlines
September 20 – October 14, 2024 – The Find It Fund It portal is open and ready to accept applications. Teachers should register their account on the website and create and submit their Classroom Grant request in this portal before the closing date.
October 14, 2024 – Find It Fund It Portal Closes at Midnight CST.
October 15 – October 31, 2024 – Classroom Grant Requests submitted are placed in a blind review and scored by the Classroom Grant Review Committee to determine funding.
November 1 – November 5, 2024 – Walton Education Foundation releases an email notifying approved grants for funding. approved Classroom Grant funding to school campuses.
February 15, 2025 – Receipts Due – Teachers submit receipts to Walton Education Foundation to confirm all grant funds are spent, and program supplies are purchased as listed in the grant.
April 1, 2025* – Final Reports Due – Teacher Final Reports are Due (Impact Report and State Report highlighting outcomes and outputs).
Walton Education Foundation Classroom Grants are submitted through our Find It Fund It portal and entered into a review by a panel of former educators and administrators, community members, and school parents. The Review Panel scores each grant and then awarded schools are notified.

Classroom Grant Instructions, Terms for Application and General Understanding for Grant Submission
Classroom Grant application requests are eligible to WCSD teachers within the range of $500 – $1,000 OR by more than one teacher or department in the range of $500 – $1,500. Each grant should support a specific need in a classroom, grade level or department with measurable program materials for the greatest impact on student success. Classroom Grants should align with goals set by the WCSD and/or the teacher’s school improvement plan in the areas of Literacy, STEM, Low-Performing Students and Teaching Quality.
When submitting a Classroom Grant Application, the applicant(s) accepts the terms of the 2024-25 project timeline, scope of program supplies and overall project activities.
